If You Quit You Will Never Find The Success You Want

So many people quit on their dreams because it gets too hard or because someone tells them that "it will never work" or because it doesn't happen fast enough.

It's always hard at the beginning. It may even be hard for a while and it WILL get harder. It may take several months or even several years. No great achievement in life ever comes easy. It takes hard work, perseverance and most of all the will to endure all the ups and downs that each challenge brings. Be in it for the long-haul.

When Does Success Finally Come My way?

There is no time limit on success. Success happens when you are ready to receive it. When you have worked on yourself. When you have been willing to face your demons from the past and healed them. When you have been willing to do what few are willing to do. It's a process, and as you are in that process it may get a bit bumpy. Heck for some of us, it might feel like we are in hell. Ever have days like that? I know I still do. What there is to consider is that it's a process and little by little it gets better and better as your thinking gets better. One of my mentors always reminds me that my success is directly proportional to my thinking. If my thinking is one of success, I will achieve it. If I have "stinkin' thinkin' I highly doubt that anything good will ever come my way!

What Is Success Anyways?

Success is not just financial. Success is when everything in your life is in harmony. When every area of your life is working. It doesn't mean that life is perfect. It just means that you are at peace with the eight areas of your life that help you stay balanced. I like to refer to the "wheel of Life" in the picture above. To me, being successful is when your: Career, Money, Health, Friends and Family, Romance, Personal Growth/Spiritual, Fun and Physical Environment are all in balance. Many view success just as strictly a function of financial success.

Now, to quote from Zig Ziglar,"Money isn't the most important thing in life, but it's reasonably close to oxygen on the "gotta have it" scale." But, it's not everything! If the rest of your wheel is out of balance, I can guarantee you that no amount of money will buy you peace of mind or happiness.

It's Not What the Seminar Promised

Have you ever been to a seminar, got all pumped up, went back home and two weeks later you're back in the same ole rut? I know I have for sure! Chances are that you got back home with "THE plan" that is going to make you Millions! You KNEW that your business as you know it, will never be the same!

Question is, did you implement it? Did you make it part of your every day business? Did you systematize it? or did you do it for a couple of weeks, saw no results and quit!

In the past, I have been totally guilty of that. I had a new plan, I started working on it, and then stopped doing it and moved on to the next "Big Idea." It wasn't until I realized that doing that just DOESN'T WORK, that things began to shift in my business. You see, there is an incubation period. There is a period of trial and error; of tweaking the plan. That period is typically around 90 days. Yes, it takes about 3 months to get it right. Now heed the warning, once it starts working, you don't stop doing it. You NEVER kill the Golden Goose. Instead you systematize it, so it runs on autopilot. Then and ONLY then, do you devise the next plan and do the same.

So here is the formula:

1. Come up with the idea
2. Create a plan as to how you are going to implement the idea
3. Work the plan
4. Test and correct
5. Systematize

I realize it's simplistic, but it works!

Never Quit

The biggest mistake most people do is quit. Everyone wants the instant gratification. The "Get Rich" quick! There is no such thing. You still gota' give it the time and attention your idea deserves; specially if you are in Network Marketing.

You might not like what I'm about to say, but I'm going to say it anyways! It's not the company, or whatever you choose to blame it on, it's you. Consider that there are a lot of people doing well and others coming up in the ranks. It's hardly ever the message, rather the messenger. If you keep getting turned down every time you to sponsor a new team member, it just means you have to go work on yourself. Perhaps there is a skill that you have to learn. Or maybe there are limiting beliefs that are in the way. I promise you that once you get past those things that are holding you back, your business will EXPLODE!!

Most people never give it a chance. They quit way too soon and then blame the business, their up-line, their down-line, the economy, their brother-in-law, etc. It's not any of those. It's you!!!

So the point of this posting is that no matter what journey you decide to embark on, NEVER QUIT!!!

The start of something new

Anything is possible.
There is only one you
And you will pass this way but once.
Do it right.
